I started training with Kelson two years ago. Before getting started I explained to Kelson that I have a history of lower back pain and a pain through my gluteus and hamstring. At times this pain debilitated me. He took these ailments into consideration and designed our training sessions to strengthen my back, after several sessions I realized I had minimal back pain and the shooting pain through my gluteus and hamstring was gone! I have been training with private trainers for almost 15 years and when I would complain about my aches and pains their answer was to avoid any exercise that involved my back, by Kelson strengthening my back I am pain free! I am stronger than I have ever been and the big bonus is that I get complimented on how toned I am! I have been training with Kelson for about two years. My workouts continue to be creative and Kelson motivates me to challenge myself each session. He has taught me the proper techniques to safely lift weights. I never would have done it on my own and have actually discovered that I enjoy lifting. I can honestly say that I am stronger and more fit than I have been in years and for the first time in my life I can do push ups and pull ups!

I’ve been training with Kelson for about 2 years. Before he opened his gym he would come to my house and train me with TRX. He is very resourceful when it comes to bringing the pain. I played sports growing up and I have always been the skinny guy; so my main goal was to gain as much muscle as I could. With hard work and Kelson’s guidance I have totally transformed. In total I have gained about 40 lbs. my confidence has skyrocketed and my overall health has improved. I’m 6’8” and suffered from chronic back and hip aches, but with the added strength and mobility they are gone. The group classes are affordable and fun. Although there are a few other people with you, Kelson is great at balancing everyone’s needs and it’s still a personal experience.

I have had many personal trainers over the years, but now that I am working with Kelson, I can’t imagine ever looking for another trainer. I appreciate that Kelson is professional and knowledgeable when it comes to kinesiology and how best to help me achieve my workout goals. He is friendly and motivating without being overbearing or too easy on me. Since working out with Kelson, not only have I become much stronger, but I have learned more about my body and how to avoid injuries. I used to hate working out, but now I look forward to my sessions with Kelson because I know my workout will be efficient, effective, and fun.

For years I had convinced myself that lifting weights was something I didn’t want to do. “Not for me,” I’d say to people who didn’t ask. However, after almost a decade of physical inactivity, neglecting health in favor of more hedonistic affairs, and gaining a few extra chins, I decided to pursue “exercise.”
I spent several years kidding myself at local gyms in an effort to stay healthy and get back into somewhat decent shape. Unlike work success, though, exercise isn’t 80% showing up. I didn’t subscribe to any particular workout program, eat healthy, or push myself to the max. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. Then, Kelson decided to open a gym and save my fat ass. Overall, I couldn’t be more proud of Kelson’s success as a gym owner and personal trainer, and I couldn’t be happier with the results that I’ve seen in the two years that I’ve been training with him. Within those two years, I’ve witnessed a number of physical and personal changes that have immensely improved my lifestyle.
Not only am I now the strongest I’ve ever been, my diet doesn’t suck so my body feels great and my confidence has skyrocketed. Those back and shoulder injuries I forgot to mention earlier? Don’t worry about them they’re gone now anyways. Kelson takes the time to ensure that I’m lifting or exercising properly, but also kicks my ass to make sure I’m getting the most for my money and seeing improvements on a weekly basis. I couldn’t recommend Kelson’s physical training enough. Stop reading this already and book a meeting with him.

I had just been studying in Paris for the spring semester, and it didn’t take me long to find out that the “abroad 15” weight gain was very real. When I came back to California, I told myself I was going to focus on working out and eating right so I could get back into shape again.

I’ve always wanted to have a trainer, but never got serious about it. I assumed it would be a ton of money and I would see little results, but I was wrong about both of these assumptions. After my first complimentary training session, I couldn’t imagine not continuing on with it.

Having Kelson as a trainer made me work harder than I ever have at the gym. It opened up my eyes to how much there is available to you at the gym and how much you can achieve there. It also made me very aware of my diet, and showed me that what you eat is largely responsible for your physical health and is a huge reason for weight loss. I am now working out multiple times a week and being way more conscious about what I’m putting into my body. I try to stay as close as I can to the pre-set grocery list Kelson gave me, and it’s a lifesaver.

Over the course of 2 months while training with Kelson, I lost a total of 8 pounds and 3.8% body fat. I have never seen such drastic changes in such a short period of time.

If you’re looking to get back into shape, or get more into shape, I would hands down recommend that you do this! It doesn’t matter what age you are or your what your ideal goals are. Wherever you’re at, Kelson will make your gym and dieting experience into a very positive one

I’ve dropped 30 pounds since working with Kelson. And more importantly, I have significantly increased my energy & strength to better pursue a more fulfilling physically active lifestyle. I no longer have to use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea.

Through Kelson’s patience, experience & knowledge, he was able to rehabilitate a chronic knee injury, and systematically strengthen and condition me back into shape. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since high school.
