Squats, deadlifts and presses are simple movements we all should be able to complete with perfect form. Why is it that most of the general population has trouble putting overhead luggage in the overhead storage compartment on an airplane? Why is it that some of us seem plagued with recurring low back pain? Why is it that we moan and groan when we get out of a chair in the morning? life feels a lot easier when you train these movements three times a week. As we get stronger, our rate of perceived exertion goes down.

Are stronger athletes better athletes? absolutely. Are faster athletes better athletes? definitely. While developing skills in your specific sport is the best way to perform better in that sport, if the same athlete can perform a 400lb squat do you think they would: be more or less likely to suffer a knee injury? be more or less effective on the field? The answers should be very clear.

Some clients are here to relieve pain, others are here to lose weight and gain strength. Whatever motivates you, The Strength Coach is here to help. Each training session is 50 minutes long and includes comprehensive coaching. It's important to understand why each exercise is selected for you and how to perform it correctly. Every client's progress will be tracked and every workout will be different from the last. When you set a long term goal it is paramount to set stepping stones along the way, to remain focused and identify your strengths and weaknesses. Once you're ready to test yourself Kelson Sullivan will be by your side every step of the way: from your first warm up, to your last cool down.
